Zip Zorbers are basically the same as Boot Buddies but have been specifically manufactured to dry shoes.  Zip Zorbers can be used to dry your tennis, running, hiking and even dress shoes in as little as 20 minutes.

How Zip Zorbers Work

The substance inside the Zip Zorbers is a unique chemical combination that rapidly draws moisture into itself.  It is the perfect solution to the problem of damp shoes. Zip Zorbers will draw the moisture from the surrounding shoe lining when they are properly inserted. Because Zip Zorbers live to absorb moisture, they do it all the time. They are absorbing moisture from the air while they are exposed to it, therefore, they should be stored in an airtight bag between uses.

But Zip Zorbers have a saturation point, after which, they can absorb no more. If it takes more than 2 hours to dry the shoes, Zip Zorbers are becoming saturated. Even in this state they will feel dry to the touch. Leaving saturated Zip Zorbers in your shoes for an extended time (48 hours) could cause mold damage. Zip Zorbers will not "dry out" on their own. They need your help to release the moisture they have absorbed. This process is called regeneration.
